Continue reading »]]> Hey guys…come on out tonight for our last Converge of the year.  We’ll meet at the church at 6 and return around 9ish.  I say “ish” because it’s scheduled to end right at 9, but last time Converge ended early.  Tonight we will celebrate with other churches and hear what God has taught us this year, hear about what happened during the Life Book Movement, and have some fun as we welcome the Beautiful Unusual tour.  Cost for the night is $5 and should be a great time.  Hope to see you at 6!

Continue reading »]]> It’s supposed to warm up and seem a bit more like summer tomorrow.  So I hope you’ll join us as we kick off our last series for the year….Training Wheels.  Only 5 more weeks of Torrid left before summer…..come on out for the last few weeks as we have a great time and learn about why we get together at Torrid and following Jesus with passion.  Can’t believe the school year is coming to an end!

Continue reading »]]> Join us for the last Converge of the school year on Sunday, May 6 as churches gather to celebrate what God did through the Life Book Movement.  We also welcome in The Beautiful Unusual Tour with Attaboy, Calling Out Closer, and Jennie Wellsand. Cost for the night is just $5 plus there will be concessions for purchase if you want something to eat.  It’s gonna be a great time….hope you can make it.  We’ll meet up at church at 6 pm and should return around 9 (may be just a couple minutes late).

Continue reading »]]> We’re back in action at Torrid tonight after a week off during Spring Break.  Hope you had a great week off, but it’s time to get back to playing stupid games!  Tonight, we’ll be talking about Easter and how we respond to it.  It’s a pretty tough lesson….even for the leaders.  Can’t wait to see everyone back….see you at 7.

Continue reading »]]> Join us on Wednesday, April 25 for our annual scavenger hunt.  Bring your friends and get ready to think and work as a team to solve clues bringing you to different places in downtown Plymouth.  It’s pretty tough, but a lot of fun hanging out with your friends and a change of pace on Wednesday nights.  Meet at the church at 6 pm next week and we’ll take a bus down.  We’ll finish at 8:30 like always after we head back to church for a snack and wrap up.

Continue reading »]]> hey guys….hope you are all enjoying your spring break and had a wonderful EASTER weekend.  I know I did.  just wanted to remind you that we don’t have Torrid this week….I know…it’s sad.  BUT……we are going to Gleaners on thursday morning if you’d like to come serve with us.  we’ll be packing food and I think working on a special project this month.  so if you want to come, the bus leaves from the church at 8:30 am.  we’ll be back at 1 and bring a few doll-hairs ($$) for lunch at Wendy’s on the way home.

it’s always a great time so we’ll see you thursday.

Continue reading »]]> This Summer, the Torrid mission trip will be heading back to Good News Camp in Gladwin, MI.  A week filled with lots of hard work and tons of fun.  You can look forward to 4 Corner’s Ice Cream, pizza soup, 4 square, more trees than we’ll know what to do with, and of course growing closer to God and your teammates.  July 8-14 is gonna be the best week of the summer so I hope you’ll think about coming along.

Be sure to download the application.  It’s got your application, references, and all the important dates you’ll need to know for meetings and fundraisers.  You’ll also want to sign up for an interview time with Phil as soon as you can.  Interviews are March 28 and April 1.  That gives you less than 2 weeks to get your application filled out and turned in.

Continue reading »]]> Join us this Saturday for an afternoon serving at Gleaners.  We’ll leave from church right at noon, stop for lunch on the way and then be back at church at 4:30.  Remember….even if the weather’s nice, you’ll need to wear closed toed shoes….no sandals!
