We have so much fun every year and we want you and your friends to join us this year. So come on out on Saturday, March 10 from 6:30-10 pm.  You and your friends will all need a permission form for this event so fill it out ahead of time if you don’t have one.  Cost: $5

Every person needs to bring a Nerf dart gun and their own darts.  One warning for everyone coming….you will lose darts.  Darts get stepped on and broken or they get lost in the church.  Just realize a few are going to disappear but hopefully we’ll go home with close to the same amount you came with…it depends on how well you hunt for darts between rounds.  I hope you’ll join us for this great night.

Continue reading »]]> A big thank you to everyone who came out to help us with the Gleaners food drive at Kroger last Saturday.  Just got an e-mail from Gleaners saying that Kroger collected almost 17,000 pounds of food and over $4000 at different Kroger stores last weekend.  In all, it’s enough food and money to provide over 25,000 meals to people in the area.  Great job guys and thanks for helping out.

Continue reading »]]> Hey guys….Winter Blast is now just a couple of weeks away.  Can’t believe how quickly it’s coming.  Wanted to let you know an important reminder.  Sunday (2/5) is the last day to sign up at the lowest price of $120.  After this Sunday, the price goes up to $130. It is going to be an amazing weekend…don’t miss out!

Also, if you are interested in going but cannot afford it, please come or have your parents come talk to me this week to see how we can work something out.

Sneak through the church to find missionaries hidden in closets and dark corners all while trying to avoid guards who will mark you or take you to jail! Such a fun night to hear about what God is doing all around the world in the middle of a great game.

Continue reading »]]> Join us Friday, December 30 for a great night of fun as we celebrate the end of the year.  We’ll have a great time with friends as we look back on the past year and look forward to what God has in 2012.  Meet up at church at 8:15 and we’ll head out for a full night of fun for only $20.  There will be so much to do…..including broomball, ice skating, laser tag, basketball, volleyball, video games, music, capture the flag, bowling, and who knows what else.  I hope you’ll be able to join us.

We’ll leave at 8:15 pm and return back to church at 7 am on Saturday morning.  You will want a few extra $$ for food as concession will be open during the night at bowling and at Wayne Rec. Invite your friends and make sure you both have a permission form filled out.  Everyone will also need to sign and bring this form with you.

Continue reading »]]> Come on our for the Torrid Christmas Party on Sunday, December 18.  It’ll be from 6-8 pm after small groups up in Room 303.  Be sure to bring a wrapped gift valued at $5 or less.  It could be candy, a gift card….or you could search your house for something you don’t want anymore that someone else might want (a bag of paper clips is something no one wants!).

Also, we need people who are willing to make (or buy) and bring 2 dozen Christmas cookies to share.  If you’d like to help out with desert for the night, please sign up or contact Phil.

Continue reading »]]> Join us on November 23 from 6:30 to 9 pm as we head out to Witkowski’s barn for a night of giving thanks.  God has blessed me (and you) in sooo many ways….yet too often I’m too busy with school/work, family, friends, and life to notice it.  I definitely don’t thank God enough for all he has provided for me.  A house to live in, a family that loves me, clothes to wear (and they are clean most of the time!), food to eat, good health, great friends, and tons of pretty awesome stuff….oh….and let’s not forget a loving God who sent his son to rescue me from sin.   So come out with us this Wednesday as we take time to say thank you to this great God for those things.  A great start to Thanksgiving!
